Old barn
A few weeks ago, we got a big ole’ snow day. We did our favorite thing…we jumped in our 4 x 4 truck and went exploring the countryside. There is nothing more gorgeous than an old barn in the snow. I have a weakness for old barns! We traveled all sorts of roads looking for beautiful scenes to capture in the snow. Well, it wasn’t difficult to find them! This old barn stopped us cold in our tracks, well literally in the road.
A few favorite things
This picture just captured all of my favorite things in one snap. Lets see… Barn, Snow, Christmas Tree Farm, Weeping Willow, Cows, Old Fence! Yep, they’re all there.
As if the barn wasn’t great by itself, you have the Christmas tree farm on the rolling hills just above it. Nothing prettier than a Christmas tree farm covered in snow, except maybe at Christmastime! The weeping willow is just massive. Large weeping willows are pretty common around here. Many look to be 70-100 years old. I bet those trees could could tell you some stories! I believe the cows were curious what we were up to. They were watching us just as much as we were watching them!
